BOOK SIGNING IN HOLLYWOOD!

On Sunday July 18, from 3-5, I am hosting a book signing for my new novel, Sunset and Vine.  The private event will be held in the penthouse at the Sunset Vine Tower, 1480 Vine St. in the heart of Hollywood.  This event is made possible through the generous cooperation of Pauline Shin, leasing agent for the building. The building has a fascinating history.  Built in 1963, the 18-story tower was the first skyscraper constructed after Los Angeles repealed its 14-story height limit.  It is a late International Style building designed by architect Douglas Honnold.  The building is probably best known for being the centerpiece of the 1974 Universal Studios disaster flick "Earthquake." More recently, it was home to the 360 restaurant/bar which offered unobstructed views of the city from the building's top floor.
After a fire in December 2001, the building was evacuated and closed, remaining vacant until CIM's newly renovated 63-unit luxury apartment tower opened for move-ins on New Year's Day 2010.

This is a private event. To be included on the guest list and receive a PASSWORD, please contact me at loubriel@mac.com

There will be a limited number of books for purchase.  It is suggested that you purchase books on Amazon and bring to the event for signing.
